Curious if this is bothering anyone, using one forum. It seemed to be the most convenient way for anyone who wanted to do both, but if the majority of ST RPG players are like "bugger of CK RPG" then we'll make a new forum.
Thanks, C

It doesn't make any difference to me.

Personally, I prefer just having sub-forums with one main site to host them. I don't really know how much freedom you have on your end with the site currently. I think some game banners, wallpapers, etc would be kind of nice.

Okay, for me, having multiple sections within one forum seemed to be a logical approach to managing STRPG, CK, and sometime in the future, SoS. However, I'm one of these lazy forum people who click on the "New Topics" button at the top of the forum. That way I can quickly work my way through all of the fun stuff that I'd like to respond to.
However, doing that means that I only see subject headings, and don't get to see what particular Forum folder the subject relates to until I open up the topic.
If there was an easy way to differentiate new posts by folder (without having to click on each folder separately), then I'm still happy with having a single overarching forum for all of the Trese-magic stuff.
I'm typing in a very cold room so I'm not sure if my fingers or brain hasn't quite engaged properly yet. As such, if what I wrote doesn't quite make sense, close one eye and jump up and down while reading it. It will still not make sense, but at least it'll be harder to tell.

Are you sure? His grammer would say otherwise. Come on, now. This forum has, from what I've seen since I've been here, been free of this stuff. This is why I like coming here so much, we don't have tons of trolling and flame wars. Also, you misspelled "grammar".

I really took this as an intentional "grammer" joke, which I took as part of our friendly banter on the forum.
I am also annoyed by this new topics thing, honestly, I need to be able to switch back and form and separate them.

Maybe I did misunderstand. Oh well, I left with a joke, so I'm happy.
I'm not sure what you mean by new topics thing, though.

I usually tackle each folder at a time. I do not play CK near aa much as STE so I tend to not keep as up on CK.
I took the grammar thing in stride, i am not prefect, would never claim to be. Big fat fingers make typing difficult. Glad no one beats me to hard if i fail to fix my typos. Grammar Nazis blow ;-)

Ironically, I'm usually the Grammar Nazi on the other sites I visit. But then, I have stopped going to a lot of them simply because the communities are so terrible there(I'm looking at you, GameFAQs).

Does it make a difference?
I think of this as more of a company forum, where it's got sections for each of it's products. Which it more or less is.
As long as the CK stuff is in it's own sections (which it is) then I don't see how it could possibly be a problem.
The only issue I can think of, is if there are enough CK players who are simply trolls and such, then for the health of the STRPG forums, I would separate them. Currently, this is not an issue. I doubt it will become one either.
So ya, keep the CK on the board. They've got their own sections, it's all good.

So far, the STRPG and CK players are basically the same folks. Which I think will help keep the site healthy for quite some time. And not that I don't wish Cory and Andrew lots of success, because I do, but I kind of like the community staying somewhat small. Everyone here has been really cool, and most of us are regulars(I've probably been spending too much time here lately, actually ). At any rate, I'm sure we'll do good enough of a job to keep the games segregated to their own forums. If the games keep gaining momentum as they have been - judging by the influx of visitors lately - then the community at large will have to step up and keep things pacified and laid back like it is currently. Cory and Andrew have way too much stuff on their plate currently to patrol this place as well.
