Cory, I, and most other people based on Slayernz's estimate of 150% +/- 55%, which I agree with, would not think you are trying to steal our data by simply adding SD Card permissions. If you suddenly added both 'full network' and 'SD card' permissions then yeah it's plausible that some might think you're trying to steal data but that isn't what you would be doing.
Essentially my thoughts are that SD Card permissions are local in nature as are other permissions like 'reading phone state' which is a must for any non-turn based game, as it won't pause on receiving a phone call. Point is you can't steal our data (even if I thought that you would, which I don't) with this game by enabling the SD card permission, unless you enabled 'network access' as well !! I may be wrong but I tend to think the 'network access' permission is the evil one, so you shouldn't worry about adding the SD Card permission
