And it'd be interesting to see if it sets it to a fixed value or if it simply subtracts a value from your Rep with Mars... Cory Trese? Sent from my HTC Desire C with Tapatalk...

Fixed the Rep issue to insure it is set solidly low, regardless of previous Rep.
The reward for turning the Krofters in is 125,000, not 50,000.
You also get sizeable XP bonuses at the end, and the biggest ones come with the morale choices - biggest to smallest.

Thanks for the Rep fix and the info! 125k is a damn lot of cash. Didn't know about the XP boost yet, so I basically have to play thru MnB again...

Bump alert! Anyways, after a long time of thinking about it, not thinking about it, and then forgetting about it, I finally booted up CK and chose to turn them both in. I was given a job, I finished a job, and no one hates me because of it. However, I do intend on RP-ing a bit with my next character (female 3), and intend on playing like she "found the truth" and has decided to work against MarsCorp instead of for them. Since "female 3" doesn't have an origin story, I might as well make my own, right?

I turned them in. 125,000+XP. give me 3 just as good runners with upgrades plus my own upgrades and weapons. I still have 10k left over and plan on using that to buy some stims, crammers. Turn them in. Mars will have a big role in furture story updates.

Xmadblood - its a lot of money ... had to turn down! When I was first playing that I was like can I negotiate for a higher price? I was like yay an extra 25,000 then I thought shouldn't ur negotiate skill determine what you get? Oh well. I'll take the money all over again.

I think more important than the money is the fact that you keep your reputation with Mars. They arguably have the best armor (Kraken Hardsuit), weapons (Raptor pistols, panther cannon, ARES stun pistols), and some of highest-paying jobs in the game. I could definitely find a way to get by without them, but it would definitely be a lot less convenient.

You can buy all that stuff without having a....Mars doesn't want to kill you rep? (not sure what to say) True they have some of the highest paying jobs but I prefer to work in the 740 club (transporting locked files pays 8-13k per job) Plus aztek is my personal favorite faction. Aside from the fenians but they're small potatoes. My main CK has 150 rep with aztek and thats only bcuz I cancel half the hacking jobs bcuz I get frustrated. Point is mars is the most evil corp. I'm evil to a degree but I will help that woman look for her kid or pay that guy the credits everytime.

Xmadblood that's a good point regarding the weapons. However, if you play your cards right, you can get just about half of the factions to like you and climb almost every ladder in the game. At the end of the MNB storyline, I had (and still have) a highly positive (75-100+) rep with Mars, Aztek, Yakashima, Bravestar, and the Fennians. Los Val, Streets, K-Horizon, Yakuza, and Blue Ox don't like me too much (especially Blue Ox), but all my reps with them are still better than -45 (except for Blue Ox), so I can still safely walk through their territories without having to worry about getting into too much trouble. Sure I may have had to do some unsavory things here or there, but the way I see it, surviving the NBZ is all about putting aside your morals, accepting the world for what it is, and doing what you must to survive. Of course that's just my take on it, and I'm a "cold steel" kind of guy, so that might have something to do with it lol. Also, regarding your issue with hacking missions, the map located in the following thread (link below, just go to the most recent page to find the newest map version) helped me *IMMENSELY*. Just be warned that if you were trying to navigate the Matrix on your own it's a HUGE spoiler, so view it at your own risk. startradersrpg.proboards.com/thread/4072?page=1

I'm a sort of cold steel guy....When it comes to missions but when it comes to helping somebody out I'm gonna help em no matter what. And as for the REP. I have a positive rep with every faction. The only one I think is....knight horizon? And I have a +15 rep with them. And I only hacking missions eh....I prefer the locked transport file ones anyway.

Do you do combat missions at all, or just file/package transfers and negotiation/threaten missions? Also, does this rep apply to your MNB character or a sandbox one? I would assume if this is your MNB character we're talking about, so if you didn't turn the women in, how long did it take to get mars to like you again? I'm actually quite interested in finding this out...

I'm actually quite interested in finding this out... I just go from faction to faction really. Whenever one gets below 15 I immediatley go work for them. I mostly go negotiation/threaten. But Prefer data jobs (Hacking,Transporting files, delivery, planting dveices etc.) I found out if you do at least one job a week for a faction it slows down the reputation loss signifcantley. My street thing has only decresed by 10 for 2 weeks. I do combat missions if the credits are REALLY good. I don't mind doing fennian, street, los V,blue ox capture/kill missions. But I hate bravestar,KH etc. My runners are hunds and have all the upgrades but bravestar and corps keep killing them. I've found hunds are truly the best runners. They're athletic help with negotation/threaten jobs. And pack a punch with the shock MAW. I'm not even a HUND runner for my main and he has 1.9 million credits. That's 2 weeks worht of work. If you want a specialized human runner and 2 hunds that's probaly the best. I just use 2-3 HUNDs. Not to mention Upgradeing hunds is cheaper than human runners. Plus they always get XP. And I've done this for MNB and sandbox. MNB is tougher definitley but still i've got a positive reputation with all factions. Starting out it is tough but after u build it all up it gets really easy.
