If i lose combat or surrender to a space hive the done button is unresponsive and i need to terminate the app

Confirmed. I just purchased the $5 upgrade to unlock all awards, and then when I met a hive it would not close. I repeatedly pressed "done," and it just kept forwarding time. So I exit to the home screen on my android device. That worked; however, when I exit the game I am at a screen with an unresponsive hive combat which forces me to go to the home screen.
(I don't know how to force a non-responding app to quit yet, as I just got my tablet.) It might be worth noting that I uninstalled the app and it said something about not removing all the files. I reinstalled it and then uninstalled/reinstalled it again to see if the hive bug was still there. (I haven't played it after this last reinstall.) This last uninstall/reinstall erased all my captains but didn't give me any warning about not removing all the files.)
I purchased the game through appcrawlr.com. I am using an Acer Iconia B1-710 7" android tablet. Android version 4.1.2, kernel version 3.40.
P.S.
I originally wanted to reinstall because I was confused about my unlock purchase. It said that I still needed an award to unlock certain items and they were greyed out. I then noticed that I could buy these items when they were available.

@rja - thanks for the additional report and especially for the device info. I have created ticket #ST-2556 for us to investigate now that we have a full report. Often, these are device specific types of bugs.
The Unlock code can often be a little confusing in that fashion. It unlocks all content, but it does not change the rules of how upgrades and other things are sold in the game. Planets sell limited upgrades, based on rumors, their economy and starport level. Unlock All does not change that logic, so look for rumors about starports!
