I just wanted to use this as a second way of letting you guys know of potential bugs after updates.
The latest patch(1.0.8?) Force closes the game on me whenever I press the "Confront" button when encountering the three enforcers trying to rearrange my face. I had no FCs before this. I'm running an HTC Inspire.

Same here.
Tried a new character and it doesn't fc when confronting but no combat starts.

This is now fixed, really sorry about that. I found another one like it (Run Away) in some terrorist attacks causes a FC or HP = 0 bug. I will post an updated after I play me some Star Traders =)

Yep, she's working again. Awesome response time as usual, Cory!
I've been busy bug hunting and overall just trying everything out in this game that I had time to blow up any more Steel Song. I'll have to rectify that this weekend!

Not so much an error as such, but a strange thing all the same. When I accept jobs from the Laughing Dog, the name of my contact never changes (I'm at work atm so can't check), I beleive it is Mr Johnson. But his image is different between each job, is this intentional?

That should be fixed with the new update. I believe they were using that as sort of a placeholder. Now it says "This time I will be your connector--", or something along those lines. It still changes portraits, so it feels like it's someone new with a job. I do kind of hope that they stop using Vinny the Rat's portrait in the future though, since he's supposed to be a unique character.

Cheers HS! I'll give it a whirl on the bus home from work. It was just something that kinda niggled at me. Yeah Vinnies appearance did kinda throw me the first few times, then I realised it was just randomly choosing pics. I guess if we didn't enjoy CK that much we'd never notice.

I typically play during breaks at work, or during the commute and from work. But I suppose that's the benefit of being in a vanpool.
I finally have a gunslinger that I am happy with, and I'm trying out TP's suggestions for early game money making. Seems to be going well, other than the Los Val hate my guts, and likely several others. And I can't seem to get my heat down below a certain point.

I fixed that issue with Vinny the rat showing up in Laughing Dog. He should be unique to his phone line and initial introduction.

Nice!
I was curious though, Cory, how exactly the heat system works. I thought I had it figured out, but now I'm doubting myself.
For example, I'm pretty well hated by the Los Val. Their heat towards me is in the 200+ mark, and no matter what I do to reduce it it remains in that range. Meanwhile, the other factions seem to love me after I stop killing them. I IZ CONFUZD!

A few things I noticed in the last update: 1. Clicking on the portrait and selecting the "Skills" button shows Negotiate and Intimidate as the two Perception skills. If you go to a hotel and raise a skill, the two Perception skills are Negotiate and Etiquette. Which one is it, Intimidate or Etiquette? 2. In the hotel Attributes section, only Perception says "Raise Perception to". All the others just say "Body to", "Strength to", etc. 3. The order of Attributes and Skills is not constant from screen to screen or in the hotel. For example, on the CHR's Attributes tab the order is: ---------------------------------- Body Mind Strength Perception Dexterity Intelligence ---------------------------------- The Hotel's Attribute tab is: ---------------------------------- Body Mind Strength Intellect (not "intelligence") Dexterity Perception ---------------------------------- Int & Per seem to be switched The CHR's Skills tab's order is: ---------------------------------- Strength Perception Athletics Negotiate Brawling Intimidate Dexterity Intelligence Stealth Electronics Firearms Hacking ---------------------------------- The Hotel's Skill tab is: ---------------------------------- Strength Perception Brawling Electronics Athletics Hacking Dexterity Intelligence Firearms Negotiate Stealth Etiquette ---------------------------------- The skills seem to be swapped, is first is last and last is first. 4. Why do SMG's use "Auto" (ie rifle) rounds. They should use pistol rounds. 5. In the desc of ammo, the "Auto Belt" and "Auto Clip (IIRC)" just say "Adds Autorounds" instead of saying "Adds xxx Autorounds". No numbers given. The same goes for "Shells" and "Box of Shells", no numbers given. 6. All computers, no matter how expensive, all say "1 Icon Rating, 100MP Storage, 1 Job". 7. The "CyberKnews:Tower", "CyberKnews:Safehouse", "Street Knight Catalog:Spring 2217", and "FieldsFire.txt" files are empty and only show the section headers (green bars with lettering), but no informational text. 8. The Implant:Image Magnification does not give any bold description (ie what it does in gameplay). 9. The desc for Implant:Display Link only says "Improves Perception Skills", but not which skill and how much. On a funny note, how does a "Tattoo kit" heal you for 6HP?

@spudman - good work, chummer. You just created almost a dozen entries in the bug tracker system. The bug tracker is doing a little dance and the content creation team is crying in the corner =}
Thank you very much for this one! Very thorough and helping us polish, just as we need! Expect fixes to all of this in the next few releases. That includes the Tattoo Kit!

I am working on fixing all of these for the next release. Some of them were easier than others.

Some new ones that I've noticed: Switching weapons in combat does not show the correct ammo count for the switched weapon under your portrait. For me I'm still seeing the 6 rounds I have left in my ARES Lightfire and not the 14 in my MT Heavy. The text alignment for my Headware Memory implant is a little ... squiffy. Ok a better description is in order. The part that states Headware Rating: 20 followed by Y:400 seems to be all crushed against the left hand side. Almost like the text box for it has wraparound.
