Since I'm loving the new matrix jobs I hope this might be doable. What about:
Most factions have online presence.
if you break into a high rating/defence/secure node a "Hacker connector" option appears just like the virus drop icon does (except I visualize the connector hands shaking icon, but coloured matrix blue)
Connector says "I have been waiting for a hacker of the required skill to hack my firewalls and find me, I have much work for a cyberknight of your ... talents.
Jobs Offered are entirely matrix based, "virus dumps" and "hack this node" jobs only.
This way a real matrix rat of good ability can achieve much from 1 friendly terminal, kinda how I imagine the hacker working, very little physical presence in NBZ but a node chopping firewall dropping giant known to all and feared by Corp cyber security technicians.
