I wasn't complaining. That fight is a fun challenge. One that's caused me to swear at those spiders, but fun.

Letting them pile up or "bottling them" in a small space can lead to lots and lots of pests being created

You mean like this? Vincent couldn't have been more happy about having lightening spear level 10 at this point. It was the moment the team decided it needed matching sunglasses.

Now is there a limit to how many of these will spawn per combat? I've been known to stay in positions like that for hours and just rack up experience... I only ask because I've never fought them before... Or would that be a horrible idea due to nasty creatures eating you faster than you can heal? Because that looks like the best thing in the world for Vincent- I can just hear him laughing maniacally at the sight of a room literally full of stuff to roast.

@eng1ma - summoned creatures give 0 XP. Really? The summoned super spiders are some of the toughest monsters so far. I'm sure my group that just had to kills six of them learned something.
