Subsidy

When I choose to build something I build it. I never subsidy, mainly because I'm worried what will happen if I tap it. Does the building get made faster at a weaker bonus, or is that button there to intimidate me? If the latter, it's kinda working.

It just speeds up the process by 30%.
it's nice if you are worried about getting habs up quickly, or you want to start with a factory to get your cp up

It costs double though, so some things are more efficient than other to subsidize.

in v1.1.3

Factories get an extra 8cp for $200
hab units get 3cp for $100
mines get a terrible 5cp for $300

you have to weigh in the long term advantages with the short term disadvantages, but a subsidized factory on a 1cp colony can make a big difference.

I think you have to look beyond the costs per cp.
if it's about habs, then you are weighing morale impacts into that cost.
if it's factories, a maybe you need production quickly.
mines and everything else yield quicker income.

Ok... that makes sense. I just didn't want to press it and then all of a sudden an alien comes out of the planet. I know tb games well. If you push a button you don't recognize it can kill you.

Speaking of Library, can we have the complete library on non-tutorial maps. I have 5 things in my tutorial, but none of the articles(?) are what I really care to know about.

They will be added to your Library as you Research.

I'm not sure how I feel about displaying everything. I can see both positive and negatives.
