Can anyone tell me what the smuggler unlock does? Unlocked it already, but I haven't seen any smuggler officers for hire... Which is what I thought it did. Anyone have info on what the unlock actually is? Is it an officer who appears during X rumor? Or an enhancement to an existing officer or class? Thanks for the help  |

The smuggler officer can be recruited in Wild zones, not in the Palace. (he's like the Alien Hunter that way)
Look for a rumor about skilled scouts exploring a wild zone.. ..

Oh... I thought that was the scout... I could get him before i unlocked it... Does it make him better then, or what am I still not getting?

Does it make him better then, or what am I still not getting? scout is same guy as smuggler rumor says: if you are a worthy captain the scout will sign with captain. I don't know what that means. make sure 1 officer slot is open (you already know that) land on wild zone, officer button should appear. |

Ok. I guess I wasn't clear.
I have had scouts before. Before the unlock too... So either A) I shouldn't have been able to before the unlock. Or B) he gets something new he couldn't do before. Hence my confusion. Sorry I wasn't clear about that.

Hence my confusion. Sorry I wasn't clear about that. Hmmm...I could not remember clearly but I might have had the same situation before also (got the scout before unlocking). That maybe what threw me off also as to who the smuggler is. But I don't think he gains anymore special ability. Maybe a bug. Only Cory can check the codes. Hey Cory!...Cory!...Where is he? He's been real elusive lately... Oh yeah, maybe too busy dancing tango with Lodsys. Cory, I know you closed the thread, but from what I gather, Lodsys is probably just using the developer's pressure on Platforms to get better comp from them. I know it will be a serious financial threat for devs any prolonged litigation expense, but I don't think they have enough money to actually file anything against ALL devs. So, whatever licensing the platforms signed on, was seriously flawed and may have been done in purpose. |
