With all due respect to his Lordships, taking the fight to the xeno would be more productive if the battle cruiser and heavy carrier had weapons to not only defend their bloated selves but, more importantly (and yes, more enjoyably) splat bugs more quickly. I thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.
Live long unless you are a xeno

Stock "Canned Ships" should be built good enough for the task in a Normal difficulty setting. Not all players want to go into the nitty gritty stuff of ship design.

I'm sure the Trese kings do plan on making weapons for the battlecruiser and heavy carrier, and just have not gotten around to it or finished it yet.
I also have some ideas for these ships. First, I noticed durability gives the same bonus as normal carriers and cruisers. Just like fighters have less hull because they are smaller, heavy carriers and cruisers should have more hull because they are bigger. Second, I think it would be cool for them to have thier own "slow reactors" which would give less MP but more AP than regular reactors, allowing for more powerful weapons without making anything overbalanced. It wouldn't make sense for them to have more powerful weapons (KK torpedoes, plasma cannion, shuttles) that used the same AP.

I added the many of the new weapons in latest update, and no it doesn't give the same bonus for HP and MP. They're called "Heavy Reactors" and those two ships aren't big enough to need them. Thanks for playing.

Now I just have to wait until work is over to download the new version -_- About what you said about heavy reactors. If heavy carrier and battleship don't need them, does that mean you plan to make an even bigger ship in the future? I can't think of anything bigger than a battleruiser except for a battleship

They'd be really slow, which makes them less of a Cruiser class.
