I'm hoping for some class abilities I.e. a charge attack for for close combat or a spin attack to nail multiple adjacent dronoids. maybe a sniper attack that could hit anyone in line of sight regardless of range (with an appropriate ap cost of course) and for the gunslinger maybe the old cinematic "endless clip" negating the need to stop and reload. purchasing abilities with xp would be a great motivater not to go cyborg right outta the gate. I'm sure you guys are on it, I was just curious if this was something coming any time soon. I'm sure y'all are busy as hell with everything else like the story mode and all of your fans incesent demands. Appreciate your games and your attentiveness to them and fans, respectively. Thanks guys!

bernard - the next set of class abilities will all be for combat, adding lots of different cool functions. Stay tuned. We are, as you said, working on a ton of things, so I can't really say how soon that set will be tested and available for release! Thanks for the great extra ideas!

Ooh! I just got a light-bulb for that cult name. New World Society of Techno-Sapiens. ;D How about Technomancers (a society that worships implants and sees a future of cyborgs as the next evolution of mankind) as a religion?

I'd like to have the ability to purchase or create businesses that generate money (buying a drug den or building a cybernetics hospital). If you have so much nu-yen why not make your money work for you ;D
I also would like to have costume changes for the characters so they don't all look alike plus if you get bored with your look, buy a new outfit.

not that I have anything against the name Joshua. ( ironically now a clichéd name in CyberPunk.) but if I name my character @ creation, why doesn't it show up at the top of any of the menus in game? It has me a Joshua. lol.

Oops, I noticed that it does tell you what faction your downloading from at the top. Thanks. Having ways of smoothly transitioning without having to disconnect all the time would be good. While doing the whole connect, firewall, access net thing is repetitive, its also logical. However, I must say the game gets better with each update, kudos to TB & co

still trying to find the specific menus again... I also had a Bravestar confidential memo that I won in an encounter, went to add it to my PDA, it disappeared, didn't give me the flavor text, and never loaded it. I now have access to a crappy chinese MID 7" tablet. It has a dedicated screen capture button. I will try to see if I can get a picture of the menu showing Joshua.

Id like the positive rep ranking names to reflect the fact (as yet) you are NOT part of that faction! Eg casual contractor, respected mercenary ect. Names like gang boss & zone director give a false sense of entitlement and faction influence your character Does Not Have!

Trading paydata for things other than cash would be neat.
In fact, trading for diff paydata would be cool...especially if prices were affected by stats and "what's hot right now".

gravismetallum, I agree. I understand that not all contacts that buy the paydata can by Corp or Faction affiliation sell any in return, unless its propaganda. They look @ what you have, give you an estimate that is a paltry 30% of RV (real value, unadjusted). Not that you care. If they could sell you or trade you out paydata, would be very cool. Based on that same note, while I very much like having contacts buy paydata over DTV (data terminal videochat) as quick, simple, and hassle free way to make a few extra ¥. what I would like to see above a buy low, sell high paydata trading market...is for particularly harder or more sensitive paydata be only bought/traded/bartered by Fences you have to meet. Whether in an existing backroom, or in their own "shack". They are Neutral, and will buy/sell/trade/barter to you, regardless of your heat or faction status. I would like to see at least one working in each of the Factions zones. Much like an underground hacker network. Here is the kicker. They may pay more for paydata depending on your current faction ranking and current heat ranking in that area. If you are in great standing with the Yakuza, and take HOT Yakuza paydata into Fenns territory, who doesn't like you, to the Fence there: they will pay more because it is HOT data, you have some HEAT already for being in Fenn territory, and because you are such a figure with the Yakuza; it can be seen as reputable info. You might now actually get 30% over RV ¥ due to those circumstances. You would, of course, lose some ranking with the Yaks for selling HOT paydata, but the ¥ boost might be worth it. but due to the fences neutral nature, you don't gain any rep in Fenn land. Whew, that was a lot to type, but I believe the risk of taking the paydata, much like a package, adds to the flavor of the genre. Maybe, I am wrong...anyone?

thank you, don't get me wrong, ultimately, I would love to see the dynamic relationship of your character's waxing and waning influence to the Dome politics and economy go further. for example, and simple: Your heat rating effects the price of ammo and maybe even medical costs. the higher the heat, the greater the inflation. or: The Assassination job you pulled off last week caused a coup, and caused temporary anarchy in that zone. of course, in the dream scenario, there is just enough MMO added to CyberKnights allowing real power changes amongst the Corps and Factions as Players do their missions and sell paydata. If more players are ranking up in Blue Ox, then Blue Ox will have a slight advantage in combat for the next 24 hours game time, or something that is temporary, worthwhile to seek, and doesn't screw with gameplay balance. the best part of implementing small portions is that it needn't be RT MMO. We don't all have to be on the same time as not everyone will rest and push the clock all at the same time. but it could monitor mission logs, etc or something internal and give feedback as to which faction/corp was in the lead for the "day". as cyberknights don't contract with anyone for long, this can cause sweeps of power.
my mind's eye is complex and always ON.
