I can't wait for the upgrades, but I have one question. Where I usually play Star Traders silence is important. Will there be an option to mute music and sound available?

Looking forward to trying this out tomorrow! BTW, is the zero-crew bug fixed? I haven't played in about a week now, and I don't see it mentioned on the list above. Just wanted to see how I need to approach playing. Thanks!

that bug is *gone*
i mean seriously gone. now if the game detects that you are without crew it assumes a math error and restores the crew. in most situations "zero or almost zero crew" results in a Wound for the Captain and Crew restoration function being called.
i find it much better -- and all the work of the feedback on this forum.
wouldn't be to v2.7 without you guys and gals

Zero or almost zero crew results in a wound? So if I try to explore with 1 crew I can plan on getting a wound?

it is fairly likely. the Captain does best with the Crew around.
Still, there would be no Wound if no Crew casualties occured, so if the Explorer roll went well then no, there would be no Wounds. But if the Crew = 1, then even 1 Crew member dead would mean the Captain was hurt.

2.7 is laggy. It sometimes mistakes taps for holds. Sometimes doesn't even notice. Way too much encounters, altought that might not be anything new. Also, my ship was fully upgraded with best stuff before update and now it is not. It seems like upgrades are still there but not regonized as such and this results DOUBLE UPGRADES!! My Atmo Cutter has now crew capacity of 195! Not that I have anything against that. 8)

I will work to improve it, especially as more reports and more detailed descriptions, from you or from other people, start to come in.
That I know of, encounters are not changed. will check
Same with upgrades, I have not seen this happen. I wonder what you would see under the upgrades tab.

Well, after update upgrade tab showed i didn't have single upgrade while i'm absolutely sure i had all best upgrades. Atmo Cutted default crew capacity is 80, right? With battleship architecture is should be around 140 or so and that's how it was, despite apparently not having upgrade. So i bought mentioned upgrade again and capacity raised up to 195. Now game shows correct upgrades, after buying them all again so effectively i have double upgrades.
