How do I use the Ship Designer IAP?

Can someone help me understand how to use the Ship Designer? I just purchased the IAP Ship Designer and designed a ship to my tastes. I clicked on the "Save Ship Design" button and it returns to the Star Dock menu. So.... where's the ship? I'm still using the previous ship and all of my money is gone. 

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1.3, Star Traders RPG v5.0.3

EDIT1: Nevermind. I figured it out. Ships that are built are stored in Star Dock > Military > Dry Dock.

Hey, the same thing just happened to me exactly....but my ship wasn't in the dry dock. Any suggestions?

Not sure what you mean, the original poster found the ship without issue.

You can check under Status > Ship to see a list of your ships.
