Hi Cory Trese, fallen. Just checking, because the 'more games" link, in Cyber Knights, is allowing me to download ST4x, from Google Play, without any compatibility warning or block. If you have changed compatibility for ST4x, to accept low spec devices, all and good. If not, I'd hate your game to get bad rep from frustrated users who can't run it.

That is up to Google Play's filtering system.
Since we don't have enough permissions to inspect device CPU and GPU in our Android games, we cannot filter the more games list.
We're just depending on Google in this case. Are you running the latest version of Google Play and Android OS for your device?
Weee ... fragmentation and ancient Androids =)

No Cory, I'm running a fragmented, ancient android. Creaking Wildfire S. Decrepid OS 2.3.5 Miopic 3.2 inch HVGA resolution, (everything looks 8 bit).

If Google lets you install 4X, it might work. I don't know, filtering on the older devices is pretty rough.

If Google lets you install 4X, it might work. I don't know, filtering on the older devices is pretty rough. Nah! We've already been there. Wildfire S shows all the same memory issues with ST4x, as it does with HoS. Missing text. Missing control icons. Jerky, clunky. I'm surprised it never crashed, or kicked out to Home Screen. That's why I was concerned that other users may download, and bad-mouth ST4x. I suppose you could put an exclusion list on the store page. But who bothers reading the app info anyway? =) Thanks. I'm waiting for my cuz to redeem his copy of HoS, from Steam. Then I'll greenlight ST4x, and wait for PC version. Must admit, I prefer PC. Thanks again Cory

Nope, no one reads those description texts except the first two lines and we cannot use that to mention that Google cannot be bothered to correctly categorize devices from 4 years ago.
