Three wishes from a lowly merchant.

I've only played for 3 or 4 days. Bought elite yesterday.

Two wishes:

1) I do Status.. Cargo... Map a lot when I'm in an Urban location to look for nearby planets and rumored shortages. I know that I can set a waypoint from there, but then I have to click back 3 or 4 times to get to the point where I can click "Start". I wish there was a "Go" selection button next to waypoint on this map.

2) I wish the Political Officer popup warning me of a trade embargo would tell me who the embargo is with and what my reputation is with that (or those) factions.

3) I wish we could choose what type of rumors would display in the log. As a merchant, I don't like sifting through all of the stuff that doesn't seem important to me (i.e. treasure ships or other nefarious creatures at some Wild location).

Thanks for all your hard work and supporting this app so well. I'm really digging this game. Reminds me of playing Sid Meier's Pirates a long time ago on the C64!

I have added #2 to my list. #1 is just really hard because of how Android Activities work and #3, well I think in like a few weeks you will say (with much ST wisdom) "No Captain should ignore any rumor, for they are all connected to the great wheel of commerce."

For me on #3, it would be nice to go into the rumors list and have a button beside "Plot" that says "Dismiss". Then you could dismiss the rumors that you don't care about. In general though, different rumors tend to be important at different phases of the game, so getting everything doing your own "grooming" is an important part of being successful.

#1 - press the option button on your phone for the map shortcut and other shortcuts too.

Just thinking out-loud for number 3, but perhaps if each category of rumour was collapsible/expandable in the screen, which would make it easier to look at categories of rumours the player wants to look at (urban/wilderness/deep-space etc) - I also tend to think this functionality would be helpful when looking at ship upgrades available as well (by ship location). If you're not sure what I mean think along the lines of directory or folder tree in most file explorers, a + or - on the left of each category depending on the categories current status of collapsed or expanded.
