It seems to me after dealing with Bollish, Krangg, and Zenga they all have similar named ship classes. Eg. World killer, mass driver, missiles, etc.
The questions are: - Are the aliens ships of stock designs always or they varies from game to game based on whatever "researches" available to them. - Do the aliens ships always have the same fuel capacity? - What about the aliens captains skill levels? Constant or varies?

After a while the ship Level increases. The first wave are level 1 and weapons cause ~10 damage per shot, then the level increases over time and in my Easy game (18.5 years in!!) they have reached level 5 and are very dangerous with 40 damage per shot and they can easily dodge fire from my older ships with lower captain skill.

Aliens use a set of ship designs and upgrade them, and their captains, as their empire progresses. They pick from a list of stock designs, some aliens AIs within the same race pick different designs vs. others.
The names are pretty simple right now, but they clearly communicate the message of what type of ship you are facing. I see the interest in having some more different between the different races.

Can't we have the same on our stock ships? This will my life easy for the lesser players or us who have to play in the commuter trains.

hlo - not sure I understand the request. What are you asking?

Aliens have a very large list of stock designs and pick from this as their tech improves. They don't generate new designs on the fly.
I think he is asking for a large list of such canned/stock ships that get added to the player list of options as you discover more tech.

phantombudgie - the aliens take stock ships and then upgrade them based on their current tech level. Thanks for the clarification about the RFE, "more stock ships." We've got that on the list.

hlo - not sure I understand the request. What are you asking? As new technology are researched, the game will put out new stock ships using the newer stuff automatically. Right now if I try to swap out the gun of the Strike Fighter with a better one, I get to do a lot of Next/Prev because now my Reactor is not big enough, etc. etc. We need either more stock ships at various part of the tech tree or some simple upgrades offer within the ship building screen. Call if Wolf Cruiser II, III, IV, etc. for all I care.

Completely agreed, thanks! Just a difficult implementation and we are tackling things in priority order.

Out of curiosity, what is at the top of the roadmap right now?

Out of curiosity, what is at the top of the roadmap right now? When we feel like sharing that kind of info, we generally write a blog post about it (blog.tresebrothers.com).

No problem fallen ! I can't say I have been as busy as you and Cory, but I understand the feeling of having a million and one things to do.
