Respect the Spear

Vraes was so angry... At Oskahold there were special weapons of every type--sword, hammer, staff--but not spear. But, i bought him the Cadet's Trident, and that seemed to quiet him down.

But now we reach Riven Field and no spears at all. Between these two, the spear really seems a worse choice up to this point in the game. I sure hope there are spears the Siege Camp.

My wish: Award a special spear around Oskahold. The spear might be added to the gifts from the towns folk, the loot found among the silver cohort tombs (maybe after saving Oska), or the loot from the great shaman or excavation site.

P.S. Apologies to whoever posted previously about no spears in Riven Field.

Re: Oskahold, I am confused, I see:
Bladed Spear, Cadet's Spear, Warrior's Spear and Double Spear.

After the weapon's upgrade in Oskahold, I see:
Hunting Spear, Leafblade Barb, Heavy Lance, Cadet's Trident.

Yes there are spears at the Smith's in Oskahold.

I was saying that after killing the great shaman you get a special hammer and special sword, that are significantly better than what you can buy at the Smith's. But, no special spear.

tenbsmith - the loot at the end of the Shaman is a boss drop. There is a powerful spear in that loot group, you just didn't get it.

fallen, the 2-handed hammers appear to be missing from Riven Field. At least Karjus' table shows 2-Handed Hammers, but there are none in the store for me now. :-)

fallen, Please confirm that there are no weapons or armor at the Siege Camp and won't be any time soon. I've just visited the camp and can only buy potions. I will delete appropriate rows from the weapons and armor tables on which I'm working once i get confirmation.

tenbsmith - I believe those rows refer to the "Advanced Siege Camp" which you get access to after the Gatehouse in Red Hill. There is weapons & armor shopping there.
