Treasury display shows 10x higher than cash after 1M credits

This is one of the more bizarre bugs I have seen in all of my coding experience...
The treasury display on the bottom right of the map screen normally shows the correct money, the same value as the empire overview total.
Once you hit more than 1 million credits, the total treasury displayed on the box on the map screen jumps to 10 million, when the empire summary screen shows the correct total. I went from 993k and added 8k to reach 1001217 in the detailed empire summary but the treasury display box on the map screen says 10.01M.
Normally you have to work at Morgan Stanley to get away with this sort of thing
