My group that went up to EA 10 pretty early was coupled with Vincent's Lighting Spear also going right up to 10. Playing on Nightmare I basically saw it as the only way to make the group work, and so far it is one of my most fun and is fairly effective. They have 20 deaths at the end of all currently available content. Going up to 10 takes care of the checkerboard problem and it also also give -2ap, -7dodge and -7 accuracy. It's potent, but it means Kyera basically does one thing and invests all of her points in intelligence. In that party Vraes and Selen are both specced for melee and that -7 Accuracy is a huge bonus for them too. The amount of damage Kyera can take out of an opposing force is incredible. It's sort of a crazy idea, I guess, but if you like to try different groups I think it's worth trying some time. I think she hit EA level 10 at level 19. So all she had otherwise was Myshana's 4. When facing large groups this team might actually be one of my most effective. They take down enemy groups in 5 or 6 turns that other parties take 10 or 15 on. It means no repeat buffing and maxes out Vincent's LS attack. With groups that stay separated or come in one-at-a-time the over powered talents are a little annoying. But that's what the two melee fighters are their for.

I think EA is great at level 1. That -1 AP comes in handy. For my current party build--Level 15 on Hard--I'm a bit regretting spending the Talent Point to upgrade to EA 2. The extra SP required to caste it may outweigh the benefit of the slight bump to the dodge curse. I tend to use EA on enemies with ranged attacks or who do a lot of damage with each blow (e.g., Arhaive Elite). Further, I like to be able to caste it frequently, mixing it in with Smiting Blow and Mysha's Tears. The checkerboard disease does make it more difficult to curse groups of enemies with cross shaped AoE spells. Old shifty eyes manages it a couple of times a fight with Choking Ash, but he's more focused on cursing and has less other things to do than Kyera. Ugh, Red Hill Keep it going to be fun for my no -AP group. That sounds like some fun once you got past the pain. Sort of like how my WizPal party will be I think.

Well it's not "Does up to 0 damage," but I am loving this set of curses. It's really interesting to see what the minimum damage of some enemies are. Ratkin Veterans only go down to 80 (I think they were level 16 or 17). What's not showing is -12 Dodge, - 5 Parry, -1 AP and -6 Accuracy. With the -6 Accuracy and lots of Dodge and Parry on my melee fighters it's hard to keep them fighting. They just sit on the front lines talking about the latest fashions in Rivenfield and how Selen can't wait to see Kincaid in one of those awesome triangle shaped hats and better boots. For his part, he just keeps digging deep for all the French he can pull out to keep her swooning.
