I had tree treaties at the time; Alliance, Trade alliance and Spy battle. Then I got the message that Xeno activity had increased and 'Xeno threat has ended the Duel of assassins'

I have had something similar where a Duel was active, and Xeno threat ended the Duel, but the Duel didn't end. I had to call an Assasin's Championship to end it.

The 'has ended duel of assassins' always crops up for me, despite never having one in place.
On another buggy note, if I use the options for reducing escalating problems (the ones that lower conflicts, solar wars etc) when one isn't actually happening, if successful I still get the message that it's done it's job. For example, no solar war, I use the option for reducing a solar war, success, 'blah blah has reduced solar war' etc.
Why have I used those options when they were irrelevant? I was looking for a way to end the damn Spy Wars!

Thanks for the reports - I have added #4X-2569 to resolve the issue with the missing Spy War.
