With the KickStarter announced, we will now be sharing more and more details over the coming weeks. We'll be publishing the rewards lists and chunks of the pitch as the date approaches and our content is finalized. We'll need your support to achieve the vision that has developed over the last amazing four years of working with you, our community.
We'd love to hear if you will support our KickStarter. Copies of the game will be in the reward list (Android, iOS, PC, Mac) so you'll have direct access to pre-order. If you want to share your excitement, post in the comments on the thread. If you want to share directly with us, email atrese@gmail.com.

fallen, you know that I'd be there backing you, AND ST is the source of all your original magic, so you'd have a ton of people leaping in out of the woodwork. I'll commit to more than I would normally because of that! ST2 is THE game that needs to be created. MAKE IT NOW!!!

I won't be able to afford a big donation, but I'll definitely pitch in

I've gone for the second option. I do enjoy ST, and have been playing the crap out of EiE over the last couple of weeks, but I'm not in a position where I can auto-afford a funding input. A month ago, I'd have thrown £100 GBP (about $167 USD) at it without even blinking. I'd love to do that now. However, we've just moved house and spent a couple of grand doing it up, so I simply don't have it to spare. When my financial situation improves, I'll toss some cash in. Question: Can you pay into KS more than once? And if you do, does it add to your original donation or count as a separate one, for the purposes of incentives? So if I threw into £20, then a week later another £20, would that be two separate donations or would it be 'Mat has funded £40' (or whatever it would say) in total? I've bought all your Elite games except for HoS where I've paid individually, I have the ship designer in ST and will get the Hunder in CK (My fave TB game for sure). I became an Elite supporter within my first few days of joining the forum. So of course I'll be in there, somewhere. I just don't know when

mataeus - KickStarter lets you up your pledge and combines them. Also, it only deducts the cash if the KickStarter is successful, and therefore only at the end of the campaign (~ September 29).

Wikipeed says you use amazon to pay the kick starter. Does anyone know this? Can I buy amazon gift cards and pledge kick starter with that? Do I have to use my bank card?

qbspy - when you pledge to KickStarter, you go through Amazon Payments. Unfortunately, you cannot use Amazon Gift Cards via Amazon Payments. You'd have to connect a card. We will also be setting up a page where you can pledge to get the same rewards via PayPal.

How do you use it? My normal donation avenue is PayPal do you guys have a preference?

John Robinson - Amazon Payments is simply an extension of normal Amazon with a few extra rules. When you go to the Payments page, you'll be presented with all your payment options you'd usually use to purchase an item on Amazon, exact same billing system. For some reason, Gift Cards are not accepted - I just checked their docs on gift cards to find this out. Our preference is KickStarter + Amazon Payments. PayPal is great, but your pledge, choice of rewards, and addition to the total pledge to the project is not visible to the community, nor taken into account when considering if the project is a success or a failure. Our preference is definitely via KickStarter, but we understand its not for everyone and we'll have a PayPal page on day #1.
