Weird sound on weapon

When attacking with a Vulture shuttle (boarding 1) it makes the sound of either colonization or building something. (don't remember the exact sound but its definitely wrong)
Had it equipped on a heavy carrier.

Edit:
Also used an Archangel railgun on a battlecruiser and the sound is that of a missile.
