When I was tapping in the darkness of the fog of war to make a ship move there, it said "anomaly added to map". Next turn, it indeed showed an anomaly there through the fog of war in an unexplored section of the map. So I tried tapping around other locations where I knew anomalies were on the the map (having played it numerous times) and sure enough I'd eventually hit them and they'd be added to the map and visible the following turn. I also tried tapping around the top left corner where I know the xeno start and found a couple spaces in the fog of war where tapping did not show the targeting reticle, so I figure those must be spaces occupied by xeno (or empty) systems.
Suffice to say it seems like tapping on spaces in the fog of war acts as though those spaces are already visible and allows you to sort of cheat by adding anomalies if you know where to tap.

Fixed the anomalies and asteroids being added to the Star Chart even while under fog.
I'll see if there is anything that can be done with the other parts for the mobiles we support in upcoming release.
