Hey. This has happened a few times now to me. I'll have saved up about 200,000 credits to buy a new ship, then all of a sudden i'll check my credits for some reason and it's dropped to around 3000! This is so frustrating, I cant save money or buy new ships  Please help? X |

Did you?- Get Convicted and Go to Prison (takes sometimes 80% of your money)
- Accidentally buy water fuel on triple shortage (10,000 each)
-------------- Has anyone else experienced money loss like this? It sounds very not fun. I did a double check of the revision system for changes to Credits Manager (keeps all the money) and it has not changed in a long time. This could be a long time existing bug, so I am searching. Keep me posted if anyone sees it or suspects what is going on.

Havoc,
I should always start these discussions with: Are you running the latest version from the Android Market?
The "evil StarTrader thief" bug would fit his issue perfectly. He's rich, playing well and shopping for ships.
Bernie: In a previous version there was a bug that the Star Trader (ship seller) would take your money without giving you a ship. I fixed the bug in the version that is on the Android Market. If you update, I suspect you won't see the issue again.

Thanks for the feedback. Could you explain what you meant by 'water fuel on triple shortage'? I'm playing on normal so occasionally will go distances without water fuel... Oh, and I am running the latest version  |

I suspect that you were hit by an earlier bug that has already been fixed. Sorry!  If you notice any other issues, please bring them up on the forum and I'll work hard to address them. --- There are Rumors of Shortages you will sometimes see. During play I have made mistakes where I purchased something in a hurry without double checking the price. For me, the worst situation was a "Rating 3 Shortage" (AKA, Triple Shortage.) Shortages drive up price and down quantity. I was out of Water-Fuel and purchased the last 18 units without looking -- at $10,032 each. =) |
