In my Captain's Score (Port -> Castle -> Hall of Records -> Captain Score), section "Far Away Places" I can read:
"In your travel across the seas, you have landed on strange shores and beaches where you have led 62 expeditions to gather supplies and commanded 0 exploratory expeditions".
What are the "exploratory expeditions" and how can I start one?

When you land on a planet and it has a wild side to it (kinda like a mullet), you can choose to land on that part by entering its orbit (the ship button I think, as if you wanted to put the planet under surveillance) and selecting wild, then Explore to go treasure hunting with your crew. Be sure to have high warrior, intimidation and explore skills or expect disastrous results...

You mean something like this? My Captain is very experienced Pirate but I'm afraid she's not able to take interplanetar journeys... Yet... Joking aside, my question was about Age of Pirates game

As far as I know, these haven't been fully implemented yet... correct me if I'm wrong, but I think we can only hunt for materials. We haven't been able to find any gold on these explorations, only Timber, Silks, Spices, and foodstuffs. Perhaps these will be added in future releases...

And isn't that pic from Atlantis, the animated movie in the 90's? To be honest, it's a random picture from Google Images Atlantis, hmm... I saw 3 seasons of Stargate: Atlantis, but I don't remember any animated movie with similar title. Anyway - any ideas about exploratory expeditions in AoP? Could someone confirm what En1gma said is true?

I remember it really focusing on a a place for treasure and tech called Atlantis instead and being really confused by the title. Thanks mataeus! Though I swore I was the only one who even remembered that movie existed...

Even Make Mine Music (number 9 I think, off the top of my head, but that could be wrong) which wasn't available in the UK for many many years, due to racist overtones and implications of inbreeding in one of the stories it portrays (hillbillies, basically). From Snow White to Frozen, and everything in between. Got the Pixar ones too, of course /thread hijack. Sorry OP!

It's Pinocchio, Robin Hood and The Rescuers for me. Although Brother Bear is a wonderful film, as is The Sword in the Stone. And The Little Mermaid

I actually watched The Rescuers last week with a sister, and we were going back and forth on how villains were different back in those days. ;D Now I kinda have an urge to rematch Fievel the Mouse (though I believe that was 20th Century Fox)...
