On the last page of creation, there is no " save" option Then there is probably an error with the design. A warning should display on the screen. Once the message's warning is resolved, you'll be able to save.

On the last page of creation, there is no " save" option No option to save means that the overall design is unbalanced or not legal, or that something important is missing (like captain skills) or even unnamed. Start over with the design and make sure that all ship systems and captain skills are appropriate, also ensure that the mass is equal to or less than the reactor capacity, also name it anything as long as the name isnt blank.

May just be me but I've found I have to edit existing ships when designing new ships. If I try to just create say a fighter design from scratch I dont get the save design option, but if I edit the basic strike fighter design I do get the save design option on last page.

Yes I have completed designs fully making sure everything was in speck and given them names and still not gotten save design option or had the design not show up as a buildable option.
Using the edit design I've had no issues so use that by default now but still an annoyance when you want to basically create an all new design and not just change one or two things

I'm working on improving the error reporting functions. Could it be made to stay on the screen longer ? The error messages in the ship designer tend to flashonce for about half asecond then get replaced by the cost in terms of credits, CP and maintanence. possibly add a pause timer or something.... or possibly force the error message to stay on the screen until it is fixed instead of being overwritten by the costs. sorry about the double post, but its a bit difficult to quote multiple people from my tablet.
