Congrats on your first 100k with a junk ship Thanks beuns. I think I'm on normal level. I couldn't take over a better ship so last night I ended up buying a ship called a Gunboat. I love the guns on this thing so much. markz - glad you kept playing! Sorry that the UI gave you a hard time, but you powered through and are on your way up! Thanks for all the support! Thanks fallen. I think I came across a bug. I was fighting a pirate with 4/4 torpedoes. He kept shooting them at me but his count was not going down. It's like he had an infinite amount. I think he fired about a dozen at me but kept missing (I've got skills ). Finally I approached and this count went to 3/4. I got to boarding range and his count went to 1/4. Thanks |

markz : the number of torps remains the same as long as you miss (you or your opponent) so since he kept missing you, he got the 4/4 until one hit. I use that rule at my advantage with every ship I encounter (I'm a proud Cadar captain and fire as much torp as I can ).

beuns : heh, so in the future they make torpedoes that fly back to your ship when they miss their target. Then they are pulled back into the loading bay and readied for another try. OK, that's cool, I guess.

markz : think of it more as one section on 3/5 seconds where both ship are trying to get a opportunity to fire at the other one but you couldn't get a clear line to fire a torpedo at your opponent (the final scene of Star Wars on the trench of the Death Star when Vader is trying to fire at Luke....).
