mordechai -- yeah that was a long wait. Trust me, very frustrating for me, you and 'zon user' alike. Android Market certainly has some big advantages for small time developers.

Its not listing as avalible to update under my apps in amazon app store. Yet amazon lists the current version when I open my app its still the old version. It wont let me update

have you tried closing and restarting the Amazon App Store? It is working for some people's phones and everything in the Amazon Console says it is published.

Did that. Even called them. Tried reinstalling appstore thst didnt work. Said I may hav to uninstall lose my data and buy the app again

I'm really surprised to hear that they suggested you may have to purchase the application twice. Amazon App Store purchases are managed in the Amazon's "Your Account" page and that should be all very carefully supported by Amazon.
If you can PM me your Order Number and Support Ticket I would really like to attach those to my Amazon requests as evidence of my claims. Thanks a lot for your support and working with Amazon.com on this
