Small tweak- is there any way to have an active combat ability cancel back to the talent selection list after combat?
If Kincaid is using Lunge and has it active once combat ends (for example) once you are back to maneuvering the map, you need to cancel Lunge to recast buffs. I just feel like it would be smoother for the game to automatically cancel these abilities once combat is over.

Great. There goes my Lore-boosting super-Stoneskin-duration strategy. I'm only talking about unselecting the active talent on the screen, not changing the duration of anything in the game. So if you end combat with Stone Skin as your active talent, with this change you'd go back to the 3-8 talents being display on the sidebar instead of StoneSkin active. If you don't like this suggestion, please post I'm open to suggestions and debate!

I don't care what you do as long as I don't have to recast it every time combat starts. It gets expensive enough when it lasts for fourteen of fifteen rounds.

That will depend a bit on what difficult level you are playing on, but I am not going to change those rules. This is just a UI improvement to avoid cancelling a combat ability (probably an attack) unnecessarily.

Just personal preference but I dont mind having to manually cancel Attack abilities after combat.
What I do hate is having to select something like Selen's trap clearing for every trap, can't count how many times I've stepped on active traps because I forgot to re select or else my selection didn't work/hit wrong key/press didnt register whatever.
If it was up to me I'd ask for an option to 1)set all ability selects to persistent, 2)set all ability selects to non persistent (reselect ability for every action), 3)Set all attacks abilities persistent (more or less what we have now), 4)set all non attack abilities persistent (reverse of what we currently have basically)

Officially added a ticket, #HOS-2701 to do something about the trap disarm talents. dragolord - the discussion is not about duration of talents or canceling their active effects. We are talking about a very small change to how the UI operates when combat ends.
