I started a game on Impossible, Amazon 1.5.17, started losing as soon as the Xenos made contact, and when they finally destroyed the Templar ship Balerion, it wasn't mentioned in the Events thing. Two months later, the Meraxes faced a similar fate to its brother ship, but its valiant destruction was mentioned in the Events thing.

Ticket #2716 4X - Bug - Missing Event Log for Templar ship Destruction?
Logged a ticket to investigate. Not sure why or how this could occur, but I can do some testing to see if there is a bug to fix.

Several hours of testing here. Cannot reproduce or find any weakness in the code.
Closing this for now, will keep an eye out. At this point I'm guessing it was in the log just missed.
