As I get more and more into ST, and as I view a number of threads, I find a good amount of answers, but some also raise a few questions.. 1: What all goes into determining fuel consumption, besides Intimidate skill, and how much does each factor impact it? Keep in mind I don't expect exact answers for pretty much any of these questions.. Edit: found the answer myself: Fuel Usage Is a Combination of: "Crew Size" :: "Intimidation" "Hull Size" :: "Pilot" 2: is there a wiki, or similiar base of information besides the forum that I could look to for more information? 3: is there anything besides level, game time, and faction relations that impacts contract pay? 4: what determines the ships being made at a star dock? (I have seen people saying stuff about ships costing more than 500K, and I have never seen one cost more than 275K yet, I am assuming game time/level?) 5: stealth and tactics raise level a bit more, with stealth raising it more than tactics, and warrior takes a lot to level, is there any other skills/stats that impact leveling? 6: about stealth, I have seen Cory mention how stealth only lessens the chance of avoiding encounters you don't want, and that if you are patrolling (and thus, looking for encounters) it actually helps. But for Alien hunting, wouldn't stealth still be bad? patrolling difficulty gets harder as the game time ticks on by, so would at some point just moving around the area you wish be better than patrolling? If more questions come up I will make sure to ask Thanks to all those that have already gave good advice.

wolfie questions listed in this manner are hard for me to answer cause I have to remember all you asked and the responses. That's my fault for using mobile. I think reputation, rumors, and rating affect the star dock. Pilot raises your level in a hurry. Everything's pretty genuine in this game, like what you imagine it does, is what it does. I've not found any different, or better, source of info about Trese games like ST than this forum.

I always felt that expected AU travel affects the pay of a given contract, but I don't know. Aliens are something I prefer to avoid, so I can't speak to the best methods for finding them. Don't worry though, if you stay alive long enough, and play with artifacts, they'll probably find you. Dun, dun, dunhhh.....

You can see your current fuel consumption under the cargo tab. There are many factors in its calculation. Crew size Pilot skill of captain. Whether or not you have a pilot officer plus the 10% hold space for spice. You get bonuses that stack with naval bridge upgrade. Pilot offficer plus naval bridge lower consumption. Whether red or green space. Higher in red lower in green. Encounters in space All landings Water fuel propulsion upgrades
It is possible to get a ship down to 0.00 fuel consumption in green space. Virutal infinite moved in green.
I know there are more factors but these are some of them.

Ships at start docks are random. Ranked ships from faction military are consistent no matter which faction planet ie. All Cadar planets will have the same ranked ships available from the military.
