When I could afford things, I got my hund a pair of knashers. Then when I was wealthier I got him a Shock Maw I. Right now I can switch between both weapons, and this is a good thing. The problem is that my default weapon #1 is always the knashers, not the Shock Maw. I have to remember to switch weapons every time I begin a fight.
What I would like for me to be able to unequip the knashers, then equip them again and have them stop being in slot 1 but move to slot 2. Possible? Another way to accomplish what I want is for the game to remember between fights what I was using the last time I fought and start me with whatever that is. This may, however, annoy the people who like the fact that no matter how they ended the fight, they always start with the weapon they wield in slot 1. I sort of like that, too.

grävling - hunds only have one weapon slot. It is clear something is not working right. You did Knashers (weapon) followed by Shock Maw (implant)?

I am in a battle. There are the usual 3 buttons for attacking -- Abort, Weapons, Reload If you press 'Weapons' your hund switches from knashers to Shock Maul 2 -- or the reverse if he was wielding the Shock Maul.

What I want is 'always attack with the shock maul unless it's a drone' behaviour. So, if when I got the implant my #1 slot was the shock maul, and the knashers were unequipped, and that to use them I need to equip in the middle of battle -- which would make the 1 and only slot the knashers, until I unequipped them -- that would work fine for me. ...Aha, I see a Drone. Hunds, mount your sharp teeth.

grävling - the thing being, you should never be able to get to that case. A Hund only equips weapons to slot #1, and therefore "Weapons" in battle does nothing. You've arrived at a state that I've tested to ensure is not possible Trying to figure out how you got there. Seems like (1) equip normal weapon (2) equip cyber weapon.

Go to the breeders. Buy knashers. Leave. Equip knashers. Attack somebody. Go back to the breeders. Buy Shock Maul I. Heal at a Hotel. Attack somebody. Swap teeth.

It's a more basic problem.
Make a new hunder -- custom with tons of starting cash. Buy knashers. Fight -- you can swap between 'Knashers' and 'Hund Teeth' in battle.

On a sidenote, what about keeping the switching possible, as the Shock maws could simply be turned off, resulting in sharp teeth?
Sent from my rooted Falcon -- I want "Cerberus: By Hatred Born" back!! ASAP.

Jacob - as it is a cybernetic implant, no it can't just be "turned off" grävling - thanks, sounds like two separate issues, now under #CK-2843.

Jacob - as it is a cybernetic implant, no it can't just be "turned off" grävling - thanks, sounds like two separate issues, now under #CK-2843. I like the idea of being able to wear your Knashers over your cybernetic shock maul. So if you have Knashers equipped, you get Knasher type damage, and that only, and cannot swap between them and your cybeware, but if they aren't equipped you get your cyberware type damage. Equipping your Knashers in battle will, of course, cost the customary amount of AP, but if you have Predator Drones on your tail, then it may be very much worth spending the AP to equip Knashers, as electrocuting Predator Drones is a losing strategy.

Hmmm... What about calling this Report off and calling it a Feature instead?

Wouldn't it make sense though for a Hunder with an EvoRig to be able to deactivate an allied HellHund's Shock Maul? From my understanding of the EvoRig, it connects the Hunder and the Hund, allowing better control of the beast. Wouldn't that include cybernetics?

Brutus Aurelius - sorry, limitations of the system won't allow it. Sometimes it's painful to remember that CK is 3 years old and built on a very old framework.

I am seeing the hund maw thing as akin to CyberBlades. You can install them on your knight, and then wear taser gloves over your blades. Should you decide that electrocuting your enemies is a bad idea, you can take the gloves off. Costs AP, but can be worth it.
With dogs it would be the same except that they equip hund weapons instead of gloves.
