Make the curse nastier. We get a big dailouge warning about it but the curse strips so little off of my tank I can ignore it the entire fight. At least on nightmare I would like to see its effect 3x+ so theat decurse managment becomes a crucial part of the fight. would make it more interesting IMO as is it is a simple tank and spank. Lets make his dark magic darker scarier.

wheh! just made it past there. Gotta hurry and finish the rest of the game before it gets more difficult!
Seriously, making that fight more difficult makes sense. Could be a combo of tougher curse and stronger attack.

I think it's just fine on Nightmare. I don't recall if decurse items are available during that particular fight. Making the curse stronger might unintentionally 'require' players to invest in BD if they're playing Fyona, for example.

I got a little lost here. Are we talking about the boss shaman before the gates of Oskahold? or the big Ratking Shaman farther down the road? I cannot get Purifying Breeze before entering Oskahold and leveling Kyera to 6.

They are talking about The Great Shaman (you may consider it a first boss battle). You meet him well after reaching Oskahold.

I think players should have to invest at least one point in their chosen healers de curse ability

I think players should have to invest at least one point in their chosen healers de curse ability I respect that, however I think players should have the freedom to make builds how they like. I know in my own current run, I can think of several distinct situations where I felt an extra talent point in another ability saved my run (specifically RF and SoC). I haven't needed BD up to this point and I have found it necessary to use only a handful of decurse items up until now.
