Hey! First of all, I LOVE this game!
Recently bought the Elite version, but the newest update doesn't want to install. I've probably messed up my Galaxy SII somehow..:S Is there some way to do a uninstall+re-install without loosing my characters?
Cheers!

Can you describe does not want to install? There are several Android issues in Samsung builds that can hang installs. Have you tried a reboot?

Yeah, tried that..:S
I attempt to install it from the market, it downloads and attempts to install. Once the progress bar fills up i get "Applikation did not install" (translated from the ancient tongue of Swedish).
Is there a way to save the char with Titanium Backup or something and then reload it after a fresh install?

yes the file is called /databases/data/ and is stored inside the app data folder. (/data/data/com.corytrese.games.startraders/

Hi Krittez, just wanted to let you know that I too get these error messages from time to time and not only for star-traders app updates.
What I find works best for me is when I get that message, I open the notification window, go to the failed to install notification, select it, and it goes back to the market screen for the failed app with another notification saying it failed, and I select OK and then select update again - works 9 times out of 10 the second time for me. If I try again from within the already open market without doing it the way I describe I find it will often fail again.
It seems to be an Android market &/or connection issue, if you're using the phone's data connection. - I also had this problem in a major way trying to update the phone O/S from Froyo to Gingerbread, and the solution was not use the phone's data connection but another computer (either WiFi or USB cable) and it worked first time without issue.
Figured I'd give you some options, as even if you uninstall with a backup, you still may have trouble downloading & installing the latest update, despite uninstalling it. - FYI I'm using a HTC Desire HD so I doubt it's due to you messing up your Galaxy somehow.
