C, Sorry to keep taking swings at this horse, but I got the dark city error again. This time going to the bottom eight tile. I was playing around and trying to pay more attention, and it seems like wherever I am leaving a section from, it is displacing half a screen below in the next section, if I am moving right to left. Same effect but up if I am moving left to right. I haven't completely tested this yet. I am going to get back at it in a moment.

Well if the game's state system is loosing location cache every time you change the map, dark city error makes sense.
If your phone is putting your data into random map locations, some of them will have water in them. Probably not anything unexpected beyond the already reported data issue.
Still looking for a reproduction or a fix here. I'll find it...

Nemo just sent me a cat log of it happening.
Hot on the trail now, it cannot hide for long. Probably a race condition that isn't happening on my phones for one reason or another.
thanks for sticking with it and not giving up nails. i'll have it resolved to night if possible

That last post I made was totally bogus. What it is doing is returning me to the exact location I most recently exited a location at. Example, if I leave section A at 20 tiles from the bottom and go to section B, my entrance into B will be dead center on the side I am entering. If I then move 10 steps north, 30 from the bottom and reenter A, I will spawn in A at 20 steps north of the bottom edge, which is where I originally left A. If I return to B, regardless of where I leave A, I will spawn 30 steps north of the bottom edge, which is where I las left B. It will continue like this if I keep going from A to B. If I add C, the it resets.
Is any of this even remotely helpful?
