Kamate, That's a lot of good work. I think it's the first time I've seen a breakdown of the mini-games. One thing to consider adding to it would be the Talents/Ship components that help mitigate risk/increase rewards. Personally not a spreadsheet guy, but really sweet. And my friends that are spreadsheet guys, always helps them gain understanding, and allows min/max way beyond my understanding. +1

per gedsaro on discord, states that when mission screen shows overdue, and payment 'will be reduced by 31%', he actually gets paid only 31% of payment (so should state 'reduced TO', instead of 'reduced BY'.

Just a suggestion to help with the Spice Hall Quadrant News UI. Sure you've already thought of it, and it's not a priority, but... Adding Faction flags for each entry would help visually filter out relevant changes/news. Also, could use the icons for type of conflict as well.

Mac crossing a sector, get a ship encounter with an indie pirate and ... 1. Choose Fight 2. Enter Battle Screen, choose not to move, click Weapons. Unable to select any weapon 3. Click Talents, unable to select any Talent 4. Click Movement, able to select Movement Choices Closed game, unable to reproduce, everything working after re-opening game. I did have the game open and played for approx. 1000 turns, so will just log this as a mystery leak/stability. pic below:

If there are 3 or more rows of ship talents during ship combat, the up/down arrows to see the next/previous row of talents are kinda mis-aligned. Not a game breaker, for sure... and mouse click in the area lets you manually move the rows around. Pics below of Initial View (first row talents) and View AFTER selecting down arrow:

LionRichard,
There is no permadeath until a certain level of difficulty. After that, you will still have an XX% chance of survival. IIRC, that is the current mechanic.
With 2.2x they will introduce custom difficuly, including permadeath/non-permadeath options for any level of gameplay.
In the meantime, explosions/other on your ship are non-lethal, imprisonment is for XX period of time (if you surrender or are boarded by a hostile ship crew), but your game will resume.

I apologize if there is a thread for this, I could not find it. I entered my Steam Key, installed the game, and tried to run it. It would not run, it would say running for a few seconds, after i click on it to open it, and then nothing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, I have restarted steam. I have updated Nvidia. Any suggestions? Game version? Platform? OS version?

just checked in De Valtos sector(the one in the middle) for Indie low law settlements, but just found a 3 Trade law planet oO So my question is: Planet Values change through the years? or maybe i must check also for Faction zones('cause in this situation i found just one Indie settlement, and was 3Trade Law,i didn't check other settlements) It's only 1 specific landing zone... But to your question, the zones stay the same over time...

Agree it would be nice to have it spelled out a bit more... was assuming when the Starport re-do happens, more info would appear.

OG, looks like you have 28.9K on hand. The text on the right states the ‘procedure will cost 25.8k and take 3 days...’ Haven’t figured it all out, but I think 🤔 that you get some trade-in value (along with the 17% discount offered through your helping hands talent)

Today I ran into a military officer and my only option was 'fight'. I wish I could have surrendered but no, he preferred to wreck my ship, kill some crew, confiscate my cargo and then let me go. "Why couldn't we skip that 'wrecking-my-ship' part? I would have surrendered to you", I asked him before he departed. He smiled: "My gunners were bored."
