Now that would be a fuuuuuuunnny game. You have to position your Templars as hoards of Xenos come screaming down the corridors. Start with your basic soldier ... pew pew. Add a scout - and get some extended range options. As you progress, you get Hydras, Neptunes, and Beserkers. After the final wave of Xenos crash futilely against your position, you progress to the next level ... a toxic wilderness area It'd be one of the first non-turn-based game and one that would be a good introduction to Templar Assault Okay - whim over. back to whatever you were doing

Not being a developer- it doesn't sound especially tough to do with defense games being more of a genre with clones of every stripe. There's probably an open source code skeleton out there that could be used, so adapting or making new (and animated) sprites and some backgrounds might be the most difficult thing. I always have Robo Defense on my phone, even though I don't play them much.
