I see HoS "info" data being backed up in Storage > Manage Storage. I don't know why I didn't seem to have my save when I switched iphones but hopefully next time which won't be too long as my last was just a replacement.
Thanks

@cloudsave - that is good to hear that you can confirm it is backing up properly!

Actually, I only saw that it was on in the settings. But then I just got an iP6+ and guess what.. HoS-RPG did not have my cloudSave to restore or load anywhere in the menu. I can confirm that it didn't work for me now in 3 iphone transfers in the last 3 months. (I got 2 iP5 replacement on insurance then an iP6+ now. So this makes the game fairly unplayable I think. It's so long and there's no way to insure my progress won't likely be lost ;P

@cloudsave - I am sorry that you are having these issues with the transfers. On your bug report, we tested transfer and backup between our Apple devices by checking the Documents and Settings part of iCloud. We were able to do a restore this way. You then reported that it appeared, so it sounded like everything was good.
Can you give a 1, 2, 3 of the process you are taking to try to complete the iCloud and restore so that we can repeat that process here and see if we can / cannot reproduce your issue? Without further details, I am not sure we can do anymore on our end.

Maybe it is just that I don't own the Elite version of the game but the upgraded Lite Version with all but one elite character.
I'll look at doing a step-by-step sometime and posting here as you suggested, though I think I did what was prescribed earlier in our posts. I'll get to it.

I cannot get the pc to recognize my old phone. Is there another way to transfer the saved game file? Can we use ES File Explorer perhaps?

If you have root, you can transfer any file you want between Android devices.

For Heroes of Steel RPG Elite the files will be located in:
/data/data/com.tresebrothers.games.heroesofsteelelite/files/ for a normal Android OS.
You'll be looking for files like core.db, game_1.db and maybe more files like game_#.db based on how many games you have.
You should copy them all.

Can I transfer between kindle fire and ipad? Glad you joined officially Welcome! The saved game formats are compatible, so if you can find a way to move them between the devices then yes, you can. However, we do not have a cloud-save option for this.

The hard part here is getting the file onto the iPad. If you have rooted Android, you can get the file off easily enough. All the OS we support use compatible saved game formats -- we work really hard on that. Hopefully someday we will have the funding necessary for cloud saves between OS. Although, I somehow imagine Apple will work to make that very difficult.

Let me know if that worked for you. Thanks! I finally got it to work using the back up with Helium method. One thing i had to do that wasn't stated, once I selected "restore" on the pc, I had to allow the restore on my new phone in order for it to go thru. Thank you so much for your quick response.
