Just a small one. Can there be something that is a blade itself, like a nano-katana/nano-axe?

Great suggestion. The trick is that none of the artwork required for blades exists.
We'll put this on our list for future CK updates or games!
There are blade cyberware implants, blade gloves and blade clubs.

Also, if I remember correctly, swords have been outlawed in the NBZ due to an incident with the Yakuza...
But axes are fine. Great, even. I'll patiently wait for CK2 to see them being throwable.
