Did you write them all at once and then just break them into 3 volumes? or do you just write as fast as Stephen King? Only 2 books bro. That's a difficult question to answer. I did write the book here -before splitting it- in the forum, but EACH content edit covered so much re-writing and expansion that I effectively wrote two more books. rabid

I've had 6 days of vacation since I finished the 1st round Edits for Cerb:BCTB .... And holy god I've been bored to tears since the 2nd day. I somehow miss the tension of work.
Anyone else had this problem? Cause I can't even relax when I'm at the beach. My fingers freaking itch for something to do!

There you go bro. That's the sign that we're doing something we love. Or ... that we're workaholics. or both. <---------- rabid

I love the way the titles of these are worded. They're not standard word order, but they roll out of the mouth in a way that is pleasing. Well done.

The main criticism I get is that Ichigumi Akira simply doesn't connect with the readers. I've yet to find someone that likes him. Its probably because of the VERY strange way I wrote his dialogue. Also, that the "Nag Battle" came out of nowhere. 2 good points. I should have given Cerberus more "build up" scenes before Stryker. AND seriously considering sitting down with a Japanese English dictionary and completely rewriting Akira's lines. But, that's wishful thinking. I'm working on 2 new books at the same time a Sci-fi erotica, and 1st book of Monfelia. Trying to make Monfelia YA and a little less dark than Cerberus. Main character is named Zachary *Zack* Doveshire. rabid

rabidbite, I absolutely love Ichigumi Akira. He's my favorite next to Cerberus himself. The way he talks is what I like about him. Yes getting bad reviews\criticisms is part of the business, but sometimes you just have to ignore some people because the fault lies with them. If they've never heard a certain way of speaking or whatnot, they will have trouble trying to understand it. If you start changing things around because of someone else not liking it, it's no longer your story. All the characters you've created are a part of you. If someone can't except that, you don't need them as readers or friends. This the one thing I hate about internet reviews in general. People can say whatever they want and not be held accountable. My mother had to close her coffee shop a little early one night. Someone came by afterwards and since the shop was closed they went home and left a very negative review on the website. They called the shop a bad business, told people they shouldn't go there and did their best to try just try and put the business down. Did they stop and think that maybe there was reason the shop closed? No. They just thought that they were wronged and that they should be entitled to some special treatment and that their review was what mattered. I also disagree with the idea that the "Nag Battle" came out of nowhere. You gave plenty of hints as to what was to come. It made perfect sense.

Well, this book is complete.
Now just waiting on the book cover, which I should have done early, but didn't. Shame on me.
Finishing up some other 2 novellettes in other genres, even as I work on full length novel 3. Monfelia: The First Wizard. (tentative title)

PS: I should really start fixing my darn forum, but I never ever spend time on it. Freaking stupid of me, really.
