I've just stepped back into CK land after a long absence (I'm still finding too damned appealing trying to rid the galaxy of Steel Song ...).
One thing that niggles me ... and from the forum, it seems me alone ... is the fact that you can't simply select a building to get your character going - you have to specifically select the door in the building. I've got large fingers and sometimes I can't mash quite the right grid.
It would be nice to be able to select a building itself.
I should play CK more than I do so I can provide more educated feedback. Right now I am probably worse than a newbie

I'm afraid we'd have to re-think the entire map database and re-code like 600 buildings to change the way it works.
We will address it with an "enter nearby building" action that reduces the need to click the door (it is on the list for CK 2.0) which is several months away.
Until then, zoom in =)

get a reactive stylus. you can use the one that comes standard with Iphone (hate the phone, still miss steve jobs) there are many stylus that you can look at , most of which are under 10 bucks. they all work on android phones. i find them EXCEPTIONALLY useful for games that require delicate clicking. it MUST be a reactive stylus though, since you dont have a touch screen (like nintendo DS) you actually have a reactive polymer screen that reads the electric impulses from your finger. so that is why a "normal" stylus wont work.

I might be convinced to use a stylus if my phone included a place to keep one. I always loose stuff like that hahaha

if you have one of those rubber caps that fit inside your power charger port, you can attatch a stylus cord there without changing the functionality of the plug. there are also several places on the inside of the battery/sd card compartment which have plastic bits protruding. many of them are either structural supports or just pieces designed to help hold the battery or sd card in place. you can take a thumbtack, or better yet, a safety pin, and twist back and forth while putting pressure on the needle, slowly making a small hole in the plastic. (you can alternatively heat it up and push straight through, melting the small hole through, but you need to be careful not to hit anything important. from there you can now attach a small diameter cord to act as a lanyard for your stylus. (if its inside the battery compartment, like mine, the cord is thin enough that you can close the battery compartment with no problems, even though the cord is sticking out.
the final step, if you want to make it a little more presentable (ie, no stylus hanging by a cord) then measure where the stylus will fit on the side of your phone, and use the material of your choice to make a holding strap i used a strip of electric tape, so that it would be black, made it about this wide | | and made a loop to hold the stylus tip. it is secured to the internal compartment of the phone. eseentially, i took the loop, attatched the other end of the loop to a wider piece of cardboard . that way, when you close the phone back the wider end will not slip out of the internal compartment, leaving only the loop outside. (on my particular model, there was no space for a second loop up top, hence why i used the lanyard instead.) as long as you dont mess with the internal components of your phone, there is no danger of messing it up. any modification should be done ONLY to the plastic outer casing. TOOLS NEEDED Electrical tape Scissors Thin piece of cardboard, or plastic about this thick || Exacto Knife (if needing to cut a small port out on the side of the phone case) Needle or Tack Lighter, or other flame source ( for heating the needle) small diameter wire or cord (for the lanyard)
finally, it may also help to have a paper clip to bend into a hook shape to help thread the lanyard through the hole you made for it. and VIOLA! you have modded your handset to hold a reactive stylus! (i can make a youtube tutorial if needed. i would use jen's phone, but she bought a case for hers that actually had a stylus holder (too bad she can't find a stylus that fits it! lol)

Any news on how I can install additional Memory Modules?
