If possible, have a more fluid difficulty curve option.
something like per 20% of team health lost per turn rounded up -1 enemy level per spawn + avg kills per turn /2 ++ level per spawn.
so if HoS team takes 40% of total hp in a turn -2 to next spawn level, but team kills 2 baddies =2/2 or plus 1 =-2+1=-1 level next spawn.
Not saying example is ideal, just to illustrate the suggestion on some level.

I'm not seeing how that is an improvement over the existing dynamic difficulty system.
Thanks for the feedback!

I see it helping three types of player more than the current choices. The first two could also be done by allowing change of diff. level at any time after game start. The second could also be done by respecting for boost in buyers being unlimited. 1. The young and irregular (including adults with mental irregularities) tactition whose skill varies from day to day. 2. Those that: don't know to, don't want to or can't maintain an effective skills/talents tree. 3. Those fast to the end mainline story who are at a disadvantage compared to an equally informed completionist. Just my thoughts based on what I've seen and read about the challenges for some. Maybe just a very easy diff. for the young and uber casual players, and an impossible diff. for the uber brilliant strategist and tactitions. Those those still don't help the noncompletionists much.

Easy is definitely aimed directly at casual and new players!

Easy is definitely aimed directly at casual and new players! What age is your minimum cause it's too hard for my 7 year old (turned 7 today) -he really wants to grok it, but is a bit much -it's about right for my 11 year old. If they can read and strategize (maybe 6+)-there should be a level for them imo. Even a few adult comments on here suggested episode 2 and later is really hard for them, not all push thru that, especially if they don't forum which may cause a rejection out of hand for your other games, maybe? Maybe I'm just missing the scope of the business end.

Thanks for the feedback! This is the reason our games feature such a rich difficulty scale.
What types of things is your 7 year old struggling with? Perhaps its more the UI and concepts of play rather than difficulty.

Well those things his big brother helps him with- ui especially he mostly groks himself after his brother's help with a few forgetful moments. He grasps the beginning of concepts, it's the how they play out as the enemies level with him and their tactics and powers improve faster than his own learning curve when his positioning skill is not ideal and order of attacks is hard to grok at that age it seems, compounding the problem - e.g. Cursing and cursing attacks are hard to maximize order priority and the -relatively complex maths of skill/talents trees at higher levels.
In sum even easy level requires a moderate grasp of the long term leveling and tactics need. Personally I like hard level with an occaisonal easy - nm build test, but I still think there is room for a wider and/or more dynamic diff. range e.g. for the very young just on the edge of the beggining and the very masterful who think nm isn't challenging enough, especially for completionist play.

Ok, I'll teach the seven yearling instead of relying on the 11 year old :-p since the graphic nature isn't too much imo, and he's just on the edge of grasping. Was trying to broaden audience, but just came off as annoying again, sorry.

Was trying to broaden audience, but just came off as annoying again, sorry. No worries But, as Cory pointed out, 12+ is our rating on Google Play. We don't want to make "candy cigarettes" per say, so we're going to focus on the slightly older demographic.
