Hi all. As i am playing my first group through the hole storyline i am stuck with the weaver. I killed all his minions, destroyed all the spider egg sacks and face with my group (Lvl 41) finally the weaver itsself. It has about 3700 HP, and my group now has got only 6 potions left. The main problem is, that the weaver respans about 3 - 5 spiders a round an gets all the taken HP again (i was at about 1400 last round). My question now is: is it possible to leave the cavern via staircase in the north during battle - or has anyone got a clue to wipe out the old spider (must be a sister of Ungoliant)  To kill its minions wasn´t the hard part...... but now i am stuck. |

Use AoE attacks and -AP debuffs on the Weaver. I lowered his AP to 1 and he was like a small bug for me. One of the easiest boss fight in the whole game imho.

Ok, that might be my biggest fault, as my group only has torrent of steel 3 and choking ash 5.... DAMNED.

well, using torrent of steel u can lower AP of the Weaver to 2. Try to use some scrolls. If u get stucked try to restore to last rest point and respec your char and try to optimize your build.

sandman68 - sorry you hit a boss that is giving you a nasty time. What level if your group? Reducing its use of summoning / healing is going to be a big one. If you can survive it, put your fighter in front of the spider, as it will melee attack. If it hits, it might doo 600 Damage, but it will spend AP doing that instead of summoning. If you have Kincaid and Sure Parry, then this becomes far easier.

I will put Vraes in front of the Spider and lower its AP with Tamlins torrent of steel, instead of her pinning shot. I will overcome it.  |

If you have Tamilin's Torret of Steel (-1 AP) and Kyera's Ethereal Anguish (-1 AP) you can get it down to 1 AP! Kyera's EA even at level 1 is so good, use it on the big fat spider At 1 AP, if you put a target in front of it ... 80% of the time it's not going to summon and heal. Then spend everything you've got left keeping Vraes alive while the rest do their work! |

ok, finished it off from the East (thank You, fallen and heemun!!!), and ran into the Bug on the West, because when Vraes got two 820 Hits, they were too much... I was so tired so i pressed the restore button, instead of try again, arghhhh (silly me)... now i am traped between the camp and the blocked entry to the west cave. Now i have to wait, till it is solved. But, on the other hand, i am excited with the game again.

Make sure to go back to town and stock up on potions!!! The next update fixes the issues with the gates on both sides, sorry about that. |

Thanks, yes, thats what i want to do. It was good to have the 4 chests in the western cave... No problem at all, fallen!!! In the meantime i can play with my little baby... PS: i hope, someday , the Hagatrun bug will expire, i liked the grandson of the god. |
