Earlier this week, to a little bit of fanfare, we released the first officially mod-able feature for Templar Battleforce, allowing players to add new faces to the game. This weekend, we'll be adding the ability to load custom armors into the game. Hopefully, we can generate the interest and excitement to drive more mod features in the game, but to do so, we need to hear from you!
What would you like to mod? Would you be an active modder for the game? Would you play mods other players created?
We're just getting started here, and working toward workshop support.
As the game launched without modding support, no mod-able feature will be a give-in. Each one will take work and hours from our team here, so we are very interested in focusing on what the community is interested in modding.

Music! To use my own music files would be cool. One day while playing the game, I had my music player going and this is the songs it randomly chose,
Crazy by Nazerath Of Wolf and Man by Metallica Colours by Donovan Gay Bar by Electric Six (think the xenos actually ran away when this one started) Modern Love by David Bowie Touch Me by Doors Heartbeat by Riggs People are Strange by Doors
Killer soundtrack!

We've seen this request before, but our feeling is generally this. We didn't build a music playing app We don't want to code features for randomize, shuffle, skip track ... there are really good apps and programs that are great at playing music! You've got one already clearly, great sound track btw.

I understand completely. Just wanted to throw an idea out. I've never really done any modding myself. Been interested in it. The most common thing I've seen in modding is letting people create their own maps to battle on. That seems to be the biggest thing they all want.

If we could put in a map editor and community members could create their own deployments or full campaigns, that would be exciting. It would be months and months of work too, so it is important for us to gauge the interest in modding an early stage and decide if it is something we should pursue with Battleforce. I hope the community will share their interest, if it is there!
