Cory TreseSent an email to you regarding this issue hope I got right address lol. Just got a new PC with Win10 on it. Connected it via HDMI to my TV to use as monitor. After getting Steam running again I installed HoS and then in options tried setting it to run in windowed mode. However the window size is to tall to display properly with the bottom of window running past bottom of screen making it impossible to access the options button etc. Tried deleting from local and reinstalling it but that didn't reset to default full screen mode. Any idea how to correct this?

xdesperado - in Steam, right click on the game, choose Game Properties, Set Launch Options and enter "windowed" as your value. The next update rebuilds the main menu so that this problem never happens again. I have to say, I am sooo sick of hearing about it lol

fallenUhm ok set options to windowed, exited steam and tried opening game from desktop shortcut but still have same issue with bottom of window extending well below bottom of screen. Do I need to delete local and reinstall again? Never mind found a solution and think the problem was caused by me in first place. Had my display settings in windows changed to 125% for size of text, apps and other items which threw the window scaling for HoS off. Reseting it to normal 100% size allowed me to access options button to change the windowed size and set it to a value that works with my TV screens format while upscaled to 125% for easier readability.

The on-going issue is that people end up choosing a resolution too large for their window, and because of the way the main menu is structured (far left, options on the bottom) it is impossible for them to get to the options button to fix it. New main menu puts everything in the center.
