Are there plans for female versions of all the contacts? I'd love to see a few princesses ruling some planets out there.

I know for certain there are female version of some of the contacts, as I have seen Patreon art leaks for them.

Although maybe we should change that. I dunno. I sorta liked that as part of the Lore, but it was definitely driven by technical limitations in ST RPG. But if we change it in ST2, what does that say about ST RPG  |

After more consideration, I think we should use the Princess title and just make it clear that it is every bit as powerful as a Prince, and the differentiation isn't one of role, just different words. ST RPG would have done the same, if it was sophisticated enough.

It's simple, the quadrant of ST was an isolated one. There old cultural ways only let Princes rule. ST2 followed a different path.

ST RPG includes female Zone rules, they are just called "Prince"

Actually I'd vote to keep just the title Prince for both genders. There are historical and literary precedents for doing such.
In the context of the game universe the title of Prince denotes a position of authority and is not tied to gender.
In use it would go something like this when getting introductions and doing ceremonies.
Her Majesty Brianna Stormraven, Prince of Portlandia. The Prince in this case indicating she is the Supreme authority for that city/planet whatever.
His Highness prince Kiernen Stormraven would be her son and possible heir apparent to the position of Prince of Portlandia.
In a historical context Feudal titles were not always as clear cut as we'd like to think.
