Oh, I just realized that there are detailed descriptions for each profession, but they only show up in the Template Summary. A copy of these should really be part of the Choose Profession screen.
Character Creation --> MO profession detailed description --> ... The Quadrants are vast and the officer will be called upon to travel across known space in defense of his Faction.
(note: I used the male pronoun since this was the case in the BH detailed description)
Character Creation --> Explorer profession detailed description --> unparalelled/unparalleled
Character Creation --> Zealot profession detailed description --> A Zealot is skilled at gaining rapid acceptance and advancement within a Faction.
Character Creation --> Star Trader profession detailed description --> A Star Trader's breadth of abilities enables the Captain to get ahead early and remain flexible...

upgrading jobs: Leveling to Level 1: description states "Level 1 adding +1 Tactics, +3 Command, +2 Intimidate" Leveling to Level 2: description states "Level 1 adding +1 Tactics, +3 Command, +2 Intimidate" Leveling to Level 3: description states "Level 3 Would Add... Is the text supposed to mean that Level 2 doesn't increase skills? or Level 2 typo in sentence, but still no skill increase? or?? screenshots below, seems to be for every job tree I've tried:   |

Just a display bug, fixed for next. Level does give Skill bonus, it was just failing to display.
