I don't think it's bad to talking 'bout other games,other platforms..So...=)
I also have an Ipod Touch(last gen),I didn't tought related games were beautiful,or amazing...I tried INFINITY BLADE 2...WOW!! Someone has tried this game?? Graphically it's wonderful, the gameplay is intuitive, quite simple but challenging, customization in huge(even if I don't define it a real RPG,'cause exploration is Zero)...And Honestly I love One-to-One Sword Fights =) Cory,I'm sure if u TB could create this type of game(I'm not talking of ghrafics,I say ONE-TO-ONE Fights),I'll come there, and marry you XDXDXDXD If they have created that BTW amazing game, you'd ROCK =)

I have pondered many times about taking the ipod touch/iphone/ipad leap. I just can't bring myself to take that last step because of the very closed eco-system that is Apple. The Android Market is a brilliant example of how much more responsive developers can be compared to in the Apple Store. Cory and the TBs managed to get products to the market with little or no pain, minimal restrictions, and has hopefully benefited greatly from doing so. For me ... the Amazon market is that mid-way point between the closed system that is Apple, and the open system that is Android market. Amazon has lots more hoops and restrictions that developers have to get through to get a product out. That's why TB game updates take so much longer to get to Amazon after Android. But that's a little off-topic ... sorry ... I'll have to get my mate to download Infinity Blade 2 and give it a whirl.

The graphics are great,gameplay could be better,but it's ok,replayability...a lot =) For 4.99(i think i paid that sum) it's a good deal =) Running on a Ipod...I don't imagine on a Ipad 2 =) IF i don't know we could mix CK with an unreal engine...oooh...XD

I have worked with lots of big complex game engines and software SDKs.
I have no -- i mean 0 -- interest in Unity, Unreal, Doom 6 or whatever the heck.
I am totally focused on building the type of games I want to build.
I cannot do that while I worry about a 1,000 page API manual or someone else's ideas on how game engines work. Nope, wouldn't be prudent.

Infinity Blade is an amazing game. The developers have incredible mind-boggling skills.
They made 1.6 million USD in the first 4 days of the game's launch.
They're amazing, way beyond anything I could ever hope for.

They're amazing, way beyond anything I could ever hope for. I think you're selling yourself short. There are a few things that are interesting about you Cory. First, I don't see you "hanging on to" a project with exclusivity. Yes you work on Star Traders RPG, its your baby, but you also work on other games. That shows the ability to diversify your 'work and product portfolio' so as to reach a larger market. Second, I don't see you doing things in halves. Instead you solidly work on your projects, even polish them so as to make them better. Third, you know you can't do it alone. You get your family members to participate. That is called delegating responsibility and work load. Fourth, you have the ability to coordinate a team. This shows project manager qualities. That is to say, you can work with your team and get that team to produce results. Fifth, you have what I call 'product development vision'. You can visualize the end result of the product you are working on. That is to say you know you want to do X game and how that game will work. Then you're able to create the product and release it to the market. It's very similar to a few of the previous points I made, but not exactly the same. In essence it's creativity mixed with the ability to meet deadlines. Sixth, you are skilled in "virtual leadeship". That is the ability to work and get information from people through the World Wide Web without meeting them. AKA You use this forum for enhancement of your projects and inspire people to provide adequate criticism of the product. I could go on Mr. Trese, but I think I've made my point. Those you say have "mind-boogling skills" might be thinking the same thing bout you.
