fallen Remember in HoS we were given the option to speed up the movement of the glommed group? I think ST2 could really benefit from making the same change. The more I play, the more noticeable it becomes. I spend allot of time watching the ship slowly approach it's destination. So a speed option?

My ships travel quickly enough for me. I often wish the animations for the minigames ran a bit faster, though.

I wish the Ship Contact animation ran a bit faster. The Quadrant Name animation I really like as is.

Ah, but the ship contact animation is doing a very nice job of hiding how long it takes to get set up for a contact. Remember the long pause before there was any animation? Do you think that the contact animation is longer? (I don't).

The animations run for the same amount of time. The game just pauses for a second to generate a fully kitted ship, Captain, 20-40 crew, Talents, traits, names homeworlds, etc.

Ohhh, I see. If that is the purpose, then please leave as is. Simply put, it is going as fast as it can for your device. If your device is really fast, it would run in the exact same time as the quadrant welcome.
