I will try to take a look at the memory settings. That may explain a few things. My laptop is over five years old, but shouldn't be that low on memory. Thanks for the tip fallen

ntsheep - its the kind of thing an Android does on low memory -- just stops displaying new graphics. I'd be surprised if a 5 year old laptop had any issue with the game. Maybe its the specific graphics card. Can you be sure you are updated to the latest drivers?

I haven't seen playing on my Android tablet lately. They haven't released new drivers for the graphics card in several years. It's not supported anymore. So that's most likely what I am running into then with these problems. I will continue to report anything that may help, but I think we can just call this a device specific bug and it's hardware conflict that you can't do anything about. Or maybe this was a hidden clue to ST3: Ghosts of the Empire
